Framework NIL does not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
About Your Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents specific rights regarding their personal information. This page allows you to exercise those rights.
Even though Framework does not sell personal information, we provide this page to ensure transparency and give you control over your data.
Your California Privacy Rights
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to:
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, our business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information: Limit our use of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide our Services.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
How We Use Your Information
Framework uses personal information to:
- Provide our NIL compliance, education, and disclosure management services
- Process and review NIL deal disclosures
- Deliver educational content and track completion
- Communicate with you about your account and our services
- Comply with legal obligations and institutional requirements
- Improve and secure our platform
We share information with your institution and applicable governing bodies as required for NIL compliance purposes. This is not considered a "sale" under the CCPA.
Third-Party Sharing
We share personal information with the following categories of third parties for business purposes (not sales):
- Service Providers: Companies that help us operate our business (hosting, analytics, email delivery)
- Educational Institutions: Your school or athletic department (if you are a student-athlete)
- Athletic Governing Bodies: NCAA, NAIA, state associations (as required for compliance)
- Legal Authorities: When required by law or legal process

Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may include:
- Confirming the email address associated with your account
- Matching information you provide with information we have on file
- Asking additional questions to confirm your identity
If you are an authorized agent making a request on behalf of a California resident, you will need to provide proof of authorization and the consumer's identity.
Response Timeline
We will respond to your request within 45 days of receiving it, as required by law. If we need additional time (up to 45 more days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.
You may make a verifiable consumer request twice within a 12-month period.
