 What Connecticut allows

    10th state to allow high school NIL, first in New England

   Commercial endorsements, promotional activities, social media presence permitted

   May hire licensed agents or attorneys for NIL representation

   PA 25-1: Prospective athletes can obtain representation once agreed to attend institution

   Public institutions must report revenue sharing totals annually by January 1

    Prohibited

 Restrictions
--------------

 What Connecticut prohibits

    Disclosure required to principal or athletic director before finalizing agreement

   No school logos, insignia, or identifying marks in NIL content

   School faculty cannot be engaged in student NIL activities (except to enforce policy)

   Prohibited categories: adult entertainment, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, controlled substances, gambling, weapons
